You couldn’t have asked for a better day. The Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon on April 21 set a participation record with runners from all over the United States, and a handful of course records were broken as well.
Here’s the race by the numbers:
- 2,755: Registered runners
- 617: Volunteers (thank you!)
- 4: New course records – double marathon (male), marathon (male, Tim Gruber, pictured above), Star 10K (male and female)
