Interactive Achievement Wins State Contract, Adds Roanoke Jobs
Roanoke-based Interactive Achievement earned a state contract for its student-tracking software that will be used in schools all across Virginia.
The contract is renewable for five years and will help create up to 35 jobs. The company’s onTRAC software is already in use in 13 states and 2,300 schools, including those in Botetourt County.
Interactive Achievement’s system was selected by the Virginia Information Technologies Agency to supply the Virginia Department of Education with an instructional improvement software solution that provided a unified data platform, linking all of the Commonwealth’s school divisions, administrators, staff, teachers and students. The system will be made available to all Virginia schools.
“This is a momentous day for us,” said Jonathan Hagmaier, CEO of Interactive Achievement. “As a former teacher and Virginia administrator, I can tell you with confidence that our system does make a difference in the classroom.”
IA was founded in 2006 and is ranked 33rd on the Inc. 500|5000 list of Top Education Companies.
