On the Move and Making Connections

The Roanoke Regional Partnership has been busy this spring, sharing information about the region to businesses, site consultants, and individuals all over the country.

Here’s a look at some of the places where Partnership staffers have been in recent months:

• New Orleans for Economix, a site consultant event (December)
• Denver, Colo., for Outdoor Retailer, the nation’s biggest outdoor trade show (January)
• Atlanta for Consultant Connect, a site consultant event (February)
• Anaheim, Calif., for Natural Products Expo West, which features food and beverage companies (March)
• Cincinnati, Ohio, for Site Selectors Guild, a site consultant event (March)
• Colleges across the region for talent attraction recruiting

And there are more opportunities coming up this spring:

• Charlottesville for the Tom Tom Founders Festival, exhibiting with RBTC at the Tech Mixer, where companies network, showcase ideas, and recruit talent
• Richmond for the VEDA Spring Conference, with other economic developers
• Nashville for the Craft Brewers Conference, which features craft brewers and suppliers
