Partnership’s Doughty Named Top 50 Economic Developer
Roanoke Regional Partnership Executive Director Beth Doughty has been named one of the top 50 economic developers in North America by Consultant Connect.
Consultant Connect, a consulting agency connecting economic developers with site consultants, compiled their list of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers of 2015 via nominations from both the economic development and site consultant communities. Those listed are recognized for excellent practices, innovation, and success in building communities.
Beth Doughty has over 25 years of economic development experience and has been the Partnership’s executive director since 2008. She previously held the position from 1991 to 1999, and has helped create more than 14,000 jobs and $1 billion of investment for the Roanoke Region.
