State Economic Developers Visit Region
The Roanoke Regional Partnership hosted a group of economic developers from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership for two days this month. The goal of the visit was to showcase the Roanoke Region’s assets for technology, service, and manufacturing companies.
Partnership staff showcased the regional narrative and business advantages of locating here to the group of project managers. The visit was designed to orient VEDP officials so that they can identify the Roanoke Region as a potential fit for businesses looking to locate in Virginia.

- The TMEIC tour highlighted a team of nearly 300 engineers and support staff developing automation control systems and motors for heavy industry.
