Meet the Deschutes Social Media Team on Twitter
We’ve got a huge treat for all you beer lovers this week — Deschutes Brewery social media team members Jason Randles and Gina Schauland are taking over the Get2KnowNoke Twitter account.
They are going to chat with you about the brewery, the beer, what the street pub (coming to Roanoke Aug. 27) is all about, and parallels they see between Bend, Oregon, and the Roanoke Region. (Learn more about the Deschutes expansion.) Join the conversation, ask questions and feel free to interact this week. But, please, if you have business inquiries, submit them through the website.
Gina and Jason tweet for the brewery from @DeschutesBeer. Here’s the bio: Crafting damn tasty beer for fellow explorers everywhere with brew pubs in Bend and Portland, Oregon. Family & Employee Owned Since 1988.
Here are each of their bios:
- Jason Randles has marketed Deschutes Brewery’s damn tasty beers for over 16 years. His role with the sixth largest craft brewery in the country has grown and expanded along with the company: from the establishing traditional marketing materials, packaging and advertising promotions all the way to creating complex social media outreach campaigns. A Pacific Northwest native, Randles holds a degree from Western Washington University. When he isn’t communicating the particulars of craft beer to the masses, he spends time in Central Oregon’s great outdoors with his wife, son and daughter.
- Gina Schauland has been with Deschutes Brewery for the last 8 years. During that time, she has tour guided, poured beer, and has provided extraordinary experiences to fans through email, blogs, newsletters, social channels, over the phone, through hand-written letters, swag mailings, cooking with beer recipe creations, at events in person, and through photography. PHEW! In addition, she has been on the sensory panel for the last 5 years drinking beer every morning and providing feedback to the quality and brewing team so the beer tastes fantastic for craft beer fans every time (rough job, eh?). In her free time, she runs a women’s beer club (Central Oregon Beer Angels), and enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and night snowshoeing with friends, family, co-workers, her husband, and pups, Sonny and Crazy Eddie!
Give @DeschutesBeer a follow and make sure to join the conversation this week on @Get2KnowNoke.
